Privacy Policy

Noptechs ("we", "our", or "us") built Odoo HR Portal (the "App") as a mobile client that connects to your organization's own Odoo server. This Privacy Policy explains how information is handled when you use the App.

1. How the App Works

Odoo HR Portal is a self-service mobile client. It does not have its own backend server. All your HR data (employee records, attendance, leave requests, payslips, messages, etc.) is sent to and processed by your organization's own Odoo server. We do not have access to, collect, or store any of that data.

Your organization's Odoo server administrator is the data controller for all HR data processed through the App. Please refer to your employer's privacy policy for details on how they handle your data.

2. Information Stored on Your Device

The App stores the following data locally on your device to provide its functionality:

• Authentication tokens — stored in encrypted device storage (Keychain on iOS, Keystore on Android) to keep you signed in.
• Device identifier — a randomly generated ID stored on your device, used for attendance check-in/out.
• Cached data — employee profile, attendance, and other HR data is cached locally for faster loading. This cache is cleared on logout.
• Preferences — your language and theme selections.
• Saved accounts — account name, email, and server URL for multi-account switching.

3. Location Data

When you check in or check out for attendance, the App requests your precise location (GPS). This location data is sent directly to your organization's Odoo server — not to us. Location is only accessed at the moment of check-in/out and is not tracked in the background.

You can deny location permission, but attendance check-in may be restricted depending on your organization's settings.

4. Third-Party Services

The App uses the following third-party services:

• Expo Push Notifications — to deliver push notifications, your device's push token is sent to Expo's servers (operated by 650 Industries, Inc.). Expo routes the notification and does not store message content. See Expo's Privacy Policy.
• Expo Updates — the App checks Expo's servers for over-the-air updates. This involves standard network requests (IP address, app version) but no personal data. See Expo's Privacy Policy.

We do not integrate any analytics, advertising, or crash reporting services.

5. Data We Collect

We do not collect, store, or have access to any of your personal data. All data flows directly between the App on your device and your organization's Odoo server. We have no server infrastructure that receives your information.

6. Data Retention and Deletion

Since we do not collect your data, there is nothing for us to retain or delete. Locally cached data on your device is cleared when you log out. You can also delete the App at any time to remove all local data.

For data stored on your organization's Odoo server, contact your employer or Odoo server administrator.

7. Children's Privacy

Odoo HR Portal is a workplace application intended for adult use only (17+). We do not knowingly provide services to children under 17.

8. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify users of any material changes by updating the "Last updated" date above. Continued use of the App after changes constitutes acceptance of the revised policy.
